Crisp

As soon as I woke up, I was eager to get my morning tasks out of the way so that I could spend a few minutes out in the quiet, snowy environment that had been created overnight. I had been waiting for this day of snow so that I could pull out my macro & zoom and capture shots that I would probably only get one chance at this year. The results did not disappoint, and though I was cursing the cold as my gloved hands shivered over the shutter button, I look back at this photo - along with the other 600+ that I shot in the span of 10 freezing minutes - and find myself wishing that it would snow just one more time so that I can enjoy that rare peace & beauty of a white winter morning once again.
