This image may just be my Magnum Opus, at least for now.
With the combination of two separate photos taken on different days, it is the first one I have posted that is not straight-from-the-camera with only basic edits. The idea came to me when I shot a photo of the nearly-full moon that happened to include two birds flying across it. That photo was marred by power lines and the birds were so tiny that I could barely make them out, but I was set on the concept and determined to make it happen.
Earlier that day, I had randomly snapped a bird fleeing from a tree, so the only thing I lacked was a clear photo of the moon.
I waited until the next night, when it came out in its full Wolf glory, and made sure to give it time to rise high above the power lines. When I pulled up the photo to start editing, a second idea immerged as I noticed there was a star directly below the moon. Utilizing the magic of Canva Pro (not an ad, I just really like Canva), I took one bird, one star, and one moon to create an even better image than the one I had imagined the night before.
